Reggie Roundtree
10 News Anchor

I joined 10 News News in 1989 as a general assignment reporter. I became the weekend news anchor in 1992 and was then promoted to co-anchor of the weeknights' 6 PM and 11 PM news in 1998.

Before becoming a newsman, I was an officer in the Miami Police Department. I was named Officer of the Year after saving the lives of nine people, pulling them from a burning building. I entered broadcasting as a reporter at WPEC-TV in West Palm Beach, Florida, and distinguished myself reporting about crime and safety issues.

Once at 10 News, I gained tremendous recognition with my award-winning series of reports called "Getting Out Alive" in which I placed myself in dangerous situations to show the viewers how to survive them.

Active in many charitable and civic organizations, I currently sit on the boards of Tampa Bay Watch and the Clearwater Jazz Holiday. I reside in Palm Harbor with my two sons and a daughter in the Navy.
