Good Earth grocery store closing on Main Street

Good Earth grocery store closing on Main Street

Sarasota, Florida -- With the acquisition of Good Earth Grocery store by Richard’s Foodporium (formerly Richard’s Whole Foods), the Main Street store will be closing, effective April 30.

“While we love the Main Street location, Richard’s has another already established store very close by,” said John Rorer, owner of Richard’s Foodporium.  “In addition, the 12,000-square-foot space does not fit in to our typical marketing and branding strategy. For these reasons, we will not turn the existing Good Earth store into another Richard’s Whole Foods.”

Sarasota, Florida-Two Sarasota restaurants are the first in the nation to offer a hearing loop system to give their customers with hearing loss greater accessibility. Both Caraguilos and Owens Fish Camp have added a wireless, tabletop loop system, which diners can request for their table to make conversation much easier for those who wear a hearing aid or cochlear implant.

This portable hearing loop system is new to the global market as the first tabletop system. The system was recently introduced in the U.K. and Complete Hearing Solutions of St. Petersburg, FL adapted the offshore-made device for the U.S. market.

Flavors of Tampa Bay: Bada Bing Pizza & Pasta

Venice, Florida - All the customers say the same thing: once you try the food here, you will keep coming back again and again.

The Bada Bing Italian restaurant is truly a hidden gem in Venice. Family owned and operated, this place has the entire Cararo family taking care of you and everything served comes with a little Brooklyn attitude on the side.

Ben Cararo owned a few Bada Bings in New York, but decided to retire to Florida a few years back. Little did he know that his sons and daughters would want to recreate the Bada Bing in Florida. All the recipes have been handed down throughout the years and are prepared with love and attention to detail.
