The Kitchen Festival kicks off with 12 classes and two symposiums held in the new Culinary Arts classrooms at the Sarasota County Technical Institute (SCTI) on Wednesday, March 30 and Thursday, March 31.

Classes start at 9 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.

A Kitchen Design symposium and an Outdoor Kitchen/Dining Design symposium begin at 9:30 a.m. and last two hours.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, April 1 and Saturday, April 2, SCTI will be hosting behind-the-scenes tours of its state-of-the-art kitchens for tour ticket holders.

Visitors can also tour McIntosh Middle School's popular agriscience program.
