Sarasota, Florida --- The first day of the new school year is just one month away that means it's time to start thinking about getting your child's shots up to date. Schools in Sarasota begin Aug. 19.

Parents of children entering a Sarasota County school for the first time must provide the school with a completed Florida Certification of Immunization (CH 680).
