Sarasota, FL -- The man responsible for TheHappyScientist.com comes to Myakka River State Park today to shoot new science learning videos for his website.

Robert Krampf, based in Jacksonville, Fla., is known among teachers and science musuems for his creative, spark-filled energy demonstrations and online video lessons.

TheHappyScientist.com focuses on a broad range of science topics. Today, Krampf will focus on science topics relating to preparing for Florida's Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT), which will be administered to students in April.

Krampf will explore the park to develop his "Food Chain" series, which ties in with the Sunshine State Standards in science for grades 8, 7, 5, 4, and 3. The series is designed to show how energy moves through living systems.

Krampf will be at various locations around the park located at 13208 State Road 72 in Sarasota today between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
