Cops: Customers skipping out on bill attack restaurant manager | Crime
Sarasota, Florida -- Sarasota County Sheriff's detectives are investigating the circumstances leading up to the discovery of a restaurant manager with severe head trauma Sunday night.
Deputies were called to New Dynasty Chinese Buffet, in the 6100 block of South Tamiami Trail around 9:38 p.m., after customers found 51-year-old Tain "Andrew" Tian lying unconscious in the driveway of a nearby business.
Employees and witnesses told deputies the manager followed after three male customers who left the restaurant without paying for dinner.
