Sarasota, Florida -- Sarasota Police detectives are investigating a shooting that left two men in the hospital. 

Around 11:00 p.m. on April 22, in the 1900 block of 32nd Street, patrol officers heard gunshots. The officers found two men who had been shot. 

Other officers searched the area on foot, in vehicles and using K-9 officers but no suspect was located. 

The victims Quazone Taylor and Marquis Morgan were both taken to the hospital.

The Sarasota Police Department  looks to our community partners to help us solve this serious crime.  They encourage residents and family members to help us stop their loved ones from using handguns to resolve issues.
