Celebrate two years of North Port Drug-Free Youths

North Port, Florida--  According to the Sarasota County Health Department, the North Port Community Health Action Team (CHAT) will host youth-oriented activities for North Port Drug-Free Youth, (North Port D-Fy) in celebration of over 1,000 youths who have pledged to remain drug-free since the program started two years ago.

Anniversary event activities include competitions and games such as dodge ball and bean toss, as well as food and prizes.

The event will take place on Tuesday, April 3, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Morgan Center, 6207 West Price Blvd., North Port.

D-Fy and community members will also have the opportunity to share their views about staying drug-free via Skype as part of a WEDU TV Town Hall meeting. The meeting is from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on April 19.

North Port Drug-Free Youth is an organization of middle and high school students committed to making positive choices and living a healthy, drug-free life.
